HL :: Preparing for the Storm
Thick, grey clouds dimmed the sky overhead as the roiling waters around the islands started to lick the shores of Raccolto. Minerva could feel that the storm brewing was likely on a magnitude she hadn't ever encountered for, and she had to be ready to face it. She knew getting caught unawares would likely be disastrous, but she had time before the worst rolled in. On the medical supplies front, she was well stocked. It was part of her job, after all, to have plenty of medicines and tools. But, if the storm was going to hit as hard as predicted, then Minerva was going to go out as soon as she could to scout for any injured Pokemon after it calmed down. And for that, she planned to sit down and prepare a big, comprehensive medical kit to lug around when the time came. Now that she had a mount, it would be a lot easier to get around with it and help more Pokemon that needed it. Groceries were well covered too. Having a good variety of ingredients on hand to satisfy even the pickiest of

HL :: Mission for Moon Pies
Minerva was always a sucker for sweets, and luckily for her she wasn't lacking during the Isle Competition. The food overall was fantastic and delight to the tastebuds, but all other flavors paled in comparison to something that hit her sweet tooth just right. And, of course, the Isle Competition provided just the treat. Moon pies were one of Minerva's little guilty pleasures that she probably had eaten too much of as a kid, a treat that hit that sweet spot of crunchy and gooey that few could. Marshmallows weren't her favorite, but paired with chocolate and graham? Well, it made sense, since s'mores were a favorite of hers as well. Amongst many, many other sweets and treats. She had decided for this outing to bring Jellybean along, the Solosis zipping around her head as they walked. Right now, Minerva walked like she was on a mission - and that mission was to acquire some moon pies. People moved out of her way, her stoic expression probably coming off a bit intimidating with the

HL :: Cookie Wants Change
Cookie was a good pup. But, she was small. Lillipup weren't very strong. And though she was often at Minerva's side, she was just a companion pet with no real bite to her bark. There was nothing for her to prove, but ever since the incident where her owner was attacked by Sableye, Cookie had felt like she couldn't keep her safe if she needed to. She was too weak, too small, and it would take her a long time to become a Herdier- much less a Stoutland. So, when Minerva took her along with her to the Isle Competition celebrations, being around all the crowds made her feel even smaller than she was. It wasn't like she wanted to be huge; Cookie enjoyed being able to get around things without too much fuss. She wasn't sure that she even wanted to evolve, as Herdier didn't seem very nimble - not that Cookie was that as it was. But seeing other Pokemon at their owner's sides around them got the Lillipup wondering what she would want to be. She walked alongside Minerva, almost just as lost

HL :: Isle Comp - Jester's Cat
"Pleaseeeee, Takamine!" The Skitty in question gave a sharp hiss, clearly declining Desmond's desperate plea. "But you'll look so cute! It'll be just for the competition and then straight off, promise." In the Bewear's hands there was a colorful, cat-sized jester's outfit - bells and all. The hat jingled and jangled as Desmond moved, the sound somehow not grating him. Takamine's ears just flattened further, before the Skitty turned away her head in a huff. Desmond sighed, having already spent the last ten minutes doing this song and dance of trying to convince her to let him dress her up. It all started with him trying to stealthily put on the little shoes while Takamine was sleeping, and when the cat was roused from her slumber, she was none too pleased. Now, she wasn't letting him put it on, not even for a test-run. Yairi and Stella watched the scene unfold in front of them; Stella not straying from her spot on the couch, while Yairi jumped about following Desmond as he tried
